In a bold attempt to break the fishing slump, Andy suggests rising at 5:00 to fish the creek (only place fish had been caught with any regularity in the morning). The result was 2 boats tied together in the creek at 5:40 and no walleyes caught! Only Harry and Brad were smart enough to stay back in the cabin and sleep. Afternoon sun was high and hot. Boats out around 6:30 needing about 25 walleye for the limit to take home. Fished weedbed and favorite shoreline and The Point HARD. Got 12 about 1# or larger. So missed our limit (brought home about 30; our limit was 42).
