Motor home problems. Battery will not charge. During the night, have to stop every 10 miles or so to allow charge up. Puts us 2 hours behind schedule. UHaul mechanic (by phone) no help. Charges sufficiently during daylight. Get battery cables in Soo. Keep going. Starts to function properly. Get to camp around 3pm. Fishing not bad. Keeper walleye on South Bay/Forked Bay shoreline, and at The Point. Occasional pike. Gene nearly has a stroke trying to keep his motor running and trying to get it started again when it stops. Gene's gentle murmurings to the engine to coax it to start can be heard all over the lake!
