Destination  Camp Amyot - Negwazu Lake

  • Grouse flies into cabin window, breaking it and shaking up the entire group
  • 2 trout (one nearly 3.5#) caught in Pothole by Harry and Norm

Awards

Walleye King: J. Michael - 4.5# (23")

Pike King: Andy 7.5# (30")

Trout King: Harry

Ling King: Co-winners - Gene and Andy

"Mechanic in Boat" Special Award: Gene for his heroic efforts (and vocal efforts) to start an unstartable motor.

"H Lynnwood D 'Lost Stringer' " Special Award: Co-winners - Lynn and J Michael - This award is not awarded every year. Only when an effort of distinction arises, will this award be given. This year we were fortunate to learn that someone in the boat failed to bring in the stringer and the motor man ran over it, sending several walleyes (walleyes we needed!) to a cold grave at the bottom of the lake.

"Nameigos Poor Fishing" Award: Given to this trip because perhaps the only more difficult trip for fish catching was the infamous fly-in to Nameigos.
